We have very fond memories of Villamil and the Cormorant! I would have to say that for us our room right off the common room and kitchenette was really perfect. We look at the photo on your facebook page and see the reed fence and then we think:"but our room no longer looks out on the beautiful beach, the volcanic rocks with their iguanas sunning, the afternoon volley ball games and soccer matches with beautiful, shouting children at full play!" We suppose their must have been some (perceived) need for greater privacy on the Cormorant's ground floor, though we had not felt this.
We are this moment planning a car trip down the pacific coast of Mexico, a much less costly vacation for us, but we are missing our Isla Isabella adventures very strongly.

We wish you the best of fortunes with whatever changes to decide to make to your lovely little hotel, only saying that for us, it really was perfect! (As was the wonderfully forthright and honest way you communicated with us!)
